WEEK 3

Welcome to week 3 of our Shark Preservation unit! We are almost halfway there! This week will be all about the importance of sharks in ecosystems. We will be learning about the consequences of shark extinction and why we need to protect sharks. After our media lessons last week, we now know that sharks are not so bad and it is up to us to learn and teach others about shark populations and protection. This week will have a combination of science and drama with tons of fun activities. We will be learning about ecosystems and food webs with a matching game, a yarn web game, and even creating a mini theatrical play with sea characters. This week is all about the dangers of losing sharks from the East coast, yet all wrapped up in a fun week of learning.
