WEEK 4

Week 4 of our unit keeps on getting better! This week students will grapple with the question: what are ways to preserve shark populations in the Atlantic Ocean? We will be learning about the different methods, policies, and practices that can promote shark preservation at municipal, provincial, federal, and international levels of government. However, before we get to government policy we will learn about our own individual responsibility and community efforts which can help achieve shark preservation. To cap things off we will have the opportunity to not only develop an outstanding presentation but also present it to leading experts at the Ecology Action Centre in Halifax. Overall, this week we are learning how to make individual and world change to make the world a better place for sharks and people!
